The Church:

To be a body of believers who embrace the Good News of Jesus Christ, who want to enjoy all that it offers having the empty spaces in their lives filled with the Love of Jesus! Who realize that the Pentecostal experience, the active work of the Holy Spirit today in our daily lives, is the foundation we are to be built on and is what is necessary and key to help us constantly work toward being complete, not lacking or omitting anything. 

The Mission:

This body of believers as it grows closer to God realizes it must follow Jesus’ command to be active in spreading the Gospel to all creation, relying on the Power of the Holy Spirit as its source of power. Realizing that just as the tabernacle was designed to move in the desert that people today are dying in a desert of sin and they need us to come to them, whether at home, regionally, nationally, or internationally. A tabernacle that is always ready to move to where God needs us the most.

The Dream:

To not be a small church, but a true tabernacle, a house of true worship, designed for a continually increasing congregation. To have the vision to enlarge the tent when needed to hold as many as possible wherever needed until the day the Lord comes back and we dwell with Jesus in the eternal temple that will never be destroyed!

The Foundation of our church strives for excellence in these 7 pillars:

• The Word – Making it a part of our daily lives in as many ways as possible.
• Worship – Allowing complete freedom to express our love, thanks, and admiration to God in as many ways as possible.
• Holy Spirit – Allowing the Holy Spirit to be in 100% control, 100% of the time.
• Missions – Actively taking part in taking the Gospel throughout the world.
• Ministry – Always looking to provide for the needs of our church family, while looking for new and creative ways to meet the needs of those in our community.
• Youth & Children’s Ministry – Realizing they are the future of the church by taking great care to provide the highest quality Christian Education and encouraging and providing ministry opportunities for our young people to own their faith.
• Prayer – God is our CEO; we always ask God’s advice before we do anything.

Hi People!

I’m Susie, and there are basically two facts you need to know about me…I LOVE JESUS and I LOVE CHILDREN!  When it comes to kids…are they messy and gooey?  Of course!  Can they be “hyper” and annoying?  Definitely!  Are they totally unpredictable?  Oh yeah!  But, in spite of all this, I’m still so fond of those “wee ones” because they’re so cute, loving, and irresistible!

Little ones always know how to make us laugh and keep us young at heart.  They can be very energetic, adventurous, creative, and fun-loving.  But the most endearing things about children are they are extremely trusting and have imaginations to believe in what cannot be seen –to have faith for the impossible to come true.  Every child has seeds of greatness inside.

If you are looking for a fun place to bring your children, where they can learn to DREAM BIG and let those seeds take root and grow, …Why not bring them to New Beginnings Church? You and your children will be glad you did!

Susie Enterline

Kyle Beatty was born and raised right here in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania in a Christ-centered home. With a heart for Missions and the desire to show the Gospel of Jesus to others, The Lord has given the opportunity to be His Light locally, nationally, and internationally. Kyle completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) through Youth With A Mission Orlando and has since been the Next Generation Pastor here at New Beginnings Church.

Kyle states: “If you go where God calls you to go, and do what God calls you to do, you’re going to see Amazing things!”

Munsaka Shambweka - Worship/Creative Pastor

Munsaka grew up in Zambia, Central Africa. He was drawn to music and worship while in Highschool. He pursued higher education and ministry in neighboring Namibia where he served in different capacities as Worship director and this was the defining point of his call to ministry through worship. He also attended Rhema Bible Training Center and Northrise University for ministry and Bible training. He has spent time both in Zambia and neighboring countries doing worship ministry. In the last 5 years, Munsaka has continued to grow and pursue his gifts further by serving youth and women in Nonprofit ministries and churches, helping the less privileged in community sharing the love of God with them.

Munsaka is married to his wonderful wife, Abby who is a former NextGen manager at a church in Zambia. She is passionate about the next generation coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and remaining faithful to impact generations after them.

When Munsaka is not serving or leading worship, he likes to watch movies with his wife, beat his wife at online scrabble, cook, go on outdoor adventures and also likes to watch Youtube videos learning all things music.

When asked, "what are you most excited about as you come into this role?" Munsaka says, "I love Jesus and I love people. I am excited to get to know everyone and build great relationships. God loves when we worship Him and I love worshiping God and so I’m excited to help build an atmosphere of worship as we lead people into God's presence worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth and as we await a mighty revival. The best is yet to come.”

Johninthin Hain - Youth and Young Adult Pastor

Johninthin Hain is our Young Adult/Evangelism Pastor. He is married to Ashley. They have a daughter Makenzie, and a dog Gray. John says I am real. What you see is what you get. I humble myself daily knowing I am not in charge.  I am a person who tries to do God’s will daily.  But I fall short. I accept that, and brush myself off, ask for forgiveness, and continue with the Lord.  I look for the love, peace, and  joy all around us, and all the blessings He has given me.  I keep it simple knowing He will provide everything I need.  I know I am not perfect, and I know no one else is either.  So I do not judge.  All I can do is share my experience, strength, and hope  with  everyone.  I pulled the positives instead of the negatives.  I love to be out fishing in nature.  My philosophy is God, my family,  and then me.  The gratitude I have for life today is way different than what I had  when I was growing  up.

Lynnette Long - Church Secretary

Hello, my name is Lynnette Long, and I am the Secretary at New Beginnings Church. I have been a member of the church since 2020 when I married my wonderful Robert Long, who has been a member of New Beginnings Church since he was born.

I have been a Christian all my life and I had attended Temple Baptist Church out of DuBois for most of my adult life. I began attending New Beginnings Church after I met Robert, and I have been coming since. We were married at New Beginnings Church in 2020.

I am a graduate of DuBois College with an Associate’s Degree in Executive Assistant. I have worked in many offices, and I am excited about working in this one. The other staff members are amazing and the church itself is a wonderful and joyful family.

I love taking walks and spending time with my family. I like to attend bible studies and learn more about the Bible and Jesus. I love autumn because of all the beautiful colors and the cooler weather. I also love spending time at home just hanging out with my husband and our cat.

Elizabeth Mallory

Hi! Firstly, let me say “I love the Lord”! I am married to my best friend Jim. We’ve been together 35 years and he’s still the love of my life. We have a beautiful daughter, Holly, and Evelyn, the best granddaughter in the world! My family moved to the Smicksburg area when I was 5yrs old from Pittsburgh. They literally drew a circle on a map and chose the center spot, and that was the beginning of exciting times for me. I grew up on a farm with chickens, ducks, geese, goats and sheep. At one time we had 30 horses and a riding stable, which is where I developed my love for horses and riding. Our pasture was full of dairy cattle which had to be milked twice a day by my siblings and I. That’s where I learned to love life and God’s creations. Nurturing baby animals. Feeding and caring for God’s creatures who relied on us for food and caring. I will say that I learned a lot about life that way and I am incredibly grateful for that. We went to church every Sunday, and I accepted Christ as my personal savior when I was about 8 yrs old. I knew there had to be a glorious God just by looking at the beautiful world around me. I’ve found comfort in His arms and joy and peace in knowing Him.

I’ve done quite a variety of jobs. I’ve worked as a care nurse, cleaned homes and offices and trained horses. I was a secretary and managed Windgate Vineyards branch store. And I was a princess! Haha I was the Dairy princes for Indiana county when I was 17! That was fun. I’ve spent the last nearly 20 years as a floral designer and managing a local florist shop. My country roots are probably why I like to bake and cook. I really am a country girl at heart.

I have attended other churches along the way. But about 4 yrs ago Jim and I found this amazing Church and church family at New Beginnings Church in Punxsutawney Pa. The congregation here is truly a family. I am a member of a prayer group, I sing on our worship team, and I am the Executive Director of Birdie’s Haven Free Medical Clinic.

I am incredibly blessed to be even a small part of Birdie’s Haven. This community outreach program has already blessed hundreds of people. There is an amazing staff of caring volunteer doctors, nurses and support staff on board. I know the Lord is working here. And I am excited to see what the future holds!
